Key Responsibilities:
  • Access Control:
    • Verify identification of all patrons to ensure they meet legal drinking age.
    • Monitor entry points to manage capacity and prevent overcrowding. 
    • Conduct pat-downs for weapons or contraband when necessary. 
  • Crowd Management:
    • Observe patron behavior to identify potential issues like intoxication, aggression, or suspicious activity.
    • Intervene to de-escalate conflicts and verbal altercations between patrons. 
    • Enforce bar policies regarding behavior, dress code, and prohibited items. 
  • Incident Response:
    • Address and resolve minor disturbances promptly.
    • Respond to emergencies such as medical situations or fights, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
    • Escort disruptive patrons off the premises when appropriate. 
  • Security Measures:
    • Maintain visibility throughout the establishment by patrolling designated areas.
    • Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity. 
    • Maintain awareness of potential security risks and take necessary precautions. 
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Document incidents and suspicious behavior in detailed reports.
    • Communicate with management regarding security concerns and potential hazards. 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to stand for extended periods and respond quickly to situations requiring physical intervention.
  • Conflict Resolution: Excellent communication and de-escalation skills to manage challenging situations.
  • Observation Skills: Keen ability to identify potential issues and monitor crowd behavior.
  • Legal Knowledge: Understanding of local laws regarding alcohol service and security protocols.
  • Security Training: Completion of relevant security training programs preferred. 
Responsibilities
    • Food preparationPrepare foods like sandwiches, soups, salads, and baked goods
    • CookingGrill, fry, or broil foods using a stovetop, griddle, or deep fryer
    • Order managementTake orders, manage order timing, and ensure food is ready when served
    • Food safetyFollow food safety standards and ensure food is fully prepared and at the proper temperature 
    • CleanlinessClean food preparation areas, equipment, and dining areas
    • Inventory managementMaintain inventory of food, beverages, and equipment
    • Customer serviceServe food and beverages at tables or counters, and process payments 
Skills 
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read orders and follow instructions
  • Ability to work with others and coordinate with service staff
